In order to deepen the learning and education of party history and stimulate students' enthusiasm for loving the party and patriotism, the College of civil engineering and architecture has recently launched a series of competition activities of "learning party history and understanding thoughts" in combination with professional characteristics.

  Based on the reality of the college and highlighting its characteristics, the competition is divided into three parts, namely, the red building model design competition, the red building culture promotion meeting and the "century struggle road" architectural photography competition.

  The students actively participated in this series of competitions. A total of 17 works were submitted in the architectural model design competition. The works of "the spirit of the long march - the Great Wall" won the first prize, and there were two groups of second prize, three groups of third prize and five groups of excellent prize; After the preliminary competition, nine teams of the whole school participated in the final of the red building culture promotion conference. The "Lang Lang can't play the piano" team won the first prize, two second prize groups and six third prize groups; More than 200 works were collected in the photo contest, and after the initial review, 80 works entered the final expert review.

  In this series of party history learning and education competitions, the students improved their professional knowledge, further learned the red stories behind the red buildings, realized the original mission of the party, deepened the students' learning of the Centennial party history, and achieved the goal of promoting learning by competition and promoting action by learning.
