1、 Introduction to the subjects and specialties of recruiting experimental classes


The major of civil engineering aims to cultivate the students who can adapt to the needs of socialist modernization, develop morally, intellectually, physically, aesthetically and laboriously, master the basic theory and knowledge of civil engineering, and be competent for the technical and management work of housing construction, road, bridge, tunnel and other projects after basic training of engineers. They have solid basic theory and broad professional knowledge, and are relatively qualified Strong practical ability and innovation ability, with a certain international vision, can face the future of senior professionals. Graduates can engage in technical or management work in the departments of survey and design, construction, management, education, investment and development, finance and insurance of civil engineering.


On the basis of meeting the basic training requirements of civil engineering specialty, according to the development needs of the industry, the experimental class strengthens the cultivation of students' information technology application, professional English application, structural model design and production, complex engineering problem analysis, solving ability and innovation ability in the direction of building information model, assembly technology and intelligent construction.


2、 Enrollment plan


A total of 1 class, plans to recruit 30 people.


3、 Student registration requirements


1. Grade 2019 science and engineering students admitted by our university and within the scope of experimental class enrollment;


2. Have a strong interest in study and Research on the application major;


3. He is progressive in thought, upright in conduct, law-abiding and has not received any punishment since he entered the school.


Note: as the enrollment information of the students selected for the experimental class must be adjusted and recorded in the "Xuexin website", please strictly abide by the basic principle of not crossing the enrollment batches and categories when registering. Otherwise, the consequences are at your own risk.


4、 Selection process


1. Student registration (August 21 - August 23)


Students who are interested and meet the basic requirements for registration should log in to the online registration system and fill in their personal information truthfully according to the requirements http://jxyj.henu.edu.cn/


Note: according to their own intention, students should choose only one subject in the "Mingde plan" experimental class or the "excellence plan" experimental class, which meets the basic requirements for enrollment.


2. Qualification examination (August 24 - August 27)


(1) At 12:00 a.m. from August 24 to August 25, the Academic Affairs Office of the college where the students are currently working completed the review of the basic information of the transferred out students and imported the "student transcript (original)" (scores since admission, including the scores of the second semester of the 2019-2020 academic year).


(2) From the afternoon of August 25 to the whole day of August 26, the college will carry out the qualification examination for students according to the requirements of application conditions. The students who pass the examination will be ranked according to the sum of their English and mathematics scores in the first academic year. Those who have strong computer skills will be given priority. According to the ratio of planned enrollment 1:1.5, the list of students entering the comprehensive quality test (if the number is less than 45, all students will enter the comprehensive quality test).


(3) On August 27, the college released the list of students entering the comprehensive quality test, and informed the relevant students of the specific form of comprehensive evaluation and test time.


3. Comprehensive quality test (August 28 - August 29)


According to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, the shortlisted students should wear masks when taking the comprehensive quality test.


The comprehensive quality test includes two parts: written test and interview, in which the written test scores and interview scores account for 50% respectively.


The written examination is a comprehensive paper, which mainly includes mathematics and physics.


The interview mainly focuses on students' professional interest, knowledge structure, innovative consciousness, adaptability, psychological quality, development potential and so on.


After ranking the students according to their comprehensive quality test results, the college selects the best students from the "excellence program" experimental class.


Test time: 8:30-10:00 a.m. on August 28 for written test, and 10:10 for interview.


Test location: 606, block B, School of civil engineering and architecture, Jinming campus, Henan University.


4. Publicity (August 31 - September 2)


The list of students to be admitted is given on the homepage of the school of civil engineering and architecture( / )During the period of publicity, those who have objection should submit to the teaching and research section of the Academic Affairs Office (room 336, academic affairs office, administrative building, Jinming campus) in written form.


5、 Admission principles


The college selects students in accordance with the principles of fairness, impartiality and openness. Students who have no objection will be admitted and transferred to the experimental class of "civil engineering excellence program".


6、 Training mode


1. Implement special training program. According to the training objectives, the training plan of the excellent plan class is specially formulated and submitted to the school excellent plan management office for approval before implementation.


2. Set up separate classes to organize teaching. A teacher with a doctor's degree will be appointed as the head teacher of the school, and the teaching organization of the excellent program class will be set up, which is responsible for the teaching organization of the professional platform courses, professional courses and practical teaching links of the excellent program class; the excellent program management office of the school will be responsible for coordinating the general courses of the excellent program class.


3. The main courses are taught by experts and famous teachers. Teachers with noble morality, rigorous scholarship and high level of teaching and scientific research are selected. All the major courses are taught by famous experts with high reputation in the professional field of the discipline.


4. Implement tutorial system. Since entering the experimental class, teachers and students have made two-way choices. Each tutor guides no more than 5 students, and employs enterprise senior engineers as career tutors. The tutor is mainly responsible for urging students to study, guiding students to explore learning in scientific research projects, engineering practice, professional quality, innovation ability and other aspects according to the tutor's academic direction, and strengthening the cultivation of students' abilities in professional software application, computer programming to solve complex engineering problems, reading and writing foreign literature, and structural model design and production.


5. Implement the "six ones" support plan. The University and the college make joint efforts to create conditions and create an educational environment and platform for the cultivation of top-notch innovative students, so as to enable each student listed in the excellence program to obtain and complete the "six ones" support plan during their study in school.


(1) Participate in a scientific research project at or above the provincial level in the charge of a tutor;


(2) Complete a national or university level innovation and entrepreneurship training program for college students;


(3) Participate in a school level or above discipline competition or social practice activities;


(4) Publish a professional academic paper or Research Report;


(5) Participate in an academic conference of the discipline at or above the provincial level;


(6) Participate in a practical engineering project.


6. Encourage students to pursue postgraduate studies. According to the recommended conditions for exemption of master's degree candidates, the promotion of exemption index will give some preference to the graduates of excellent program class, and support the students to continue their further study.


7. Implement elimination mechanism. In the course of study, the students in the excellent program class will be disqualified from the excellent program class when the following situations occur, and will study and manage with the professional ordinary class from the following situations.


(1) Those who are given a warning or above for violation of rules and discipline;


(2) The course completion examination (including examination and examination) is less than two or more times of Geda;


(3) Those who have been suspended from school for more than one year.
