According to the teaching plan of this semester, the Academic Affairs Office will arrange the course selection for the second semester of 2017-2018 academic year in late November. Due to the large number of students choosing general courses and the large amount of course tasks, in order to ensure that students can study general courses as planned, the opening plan of the second semester of 2017-2018 academic year is arranged as follows:

1. All teaching units should actively construct and open undergraduate general courses as scheduled in accordance with the relevant requirements of the administrative measures for the construction of undergraduate general courses in Henan University (Annex 1). The school encourages all teaching units to offer as many high-quality general education courses as possible.

2. In principle, the opening plan of undergraduate general courses in the second semester of 2017-2018 academic year should be selected from the approved undergraduate general courses database. See Annex 2 for the list of general education courses approved by the University.

3. According to the recent construction of undergraduate general courses, the opening plan of undergraduate general courses in the second semester of 2017-2018 academic year can also be new general courses.

4. For the new general courses to be opened in the second semester of 2017-2018 academic year, it is necessary to indicate in the opening plan, and fill in the "approval form of general courses for undergraduates of Henan University" (Annex 4), which will be opened after the approval of the University.

5. Before November 9, 2017, all units are requested to submit to the teaching and research department such materials as "general courses opening schedule for the second semester of 2017-2018 academic year" (Annex 3) in one paper copy, "general courses Opening Approval Form for undergraduates of Henan University" (Annex 4, in five paper copies for newly opened general courses, and the syllabus and teaching plan of a certain chapter in one paper copy), The electronic copy corresponding to the paper should be sent to the mailbox of teaching and research department: hndxjyk@126.com 。
